Knotted Necklace.

Another knotted necklace, a slightly different and heavier then this one. But I am extremely pleased with the result!

What you'll need
- 2 m of thick rope (around 8 mm)
- silk ribbon

extra: scissors, glue, lighter

Tutorial

Step by step
1) Follow the photos for the knotting part
2) When finished cut the end of the rope
    TIP: secure the edges by burning them carefully before gluing them together
3) Secure the ribbon

Burgundy Ribbon Necklace.

An easy and quick DIY necklace.

What you'll need
- ribbon (I used 4 meter)
- jewelry clasp
- 4 crimp beads (In dutch: "knijppareltjes") 
- metallized yarn or nylon yarn

extra: a needle, a pliers, and yarn in the colour of your ribbon

Tutorial

Step by step
1) Pull the yarn in the colour of your ribbon through the eye of the needle
2) Start to thread the needle through the ribbon. Zig zag! 
   TIP: Don't make it to "clean"
3) When you used all the ribbon, secure the ribbon and the yarn. Make sure to keep a little but of space to secure the metallized yarn in a loop.
4) Make a loop with the metallized yarn and secure it to the ribbon by using (and squeezing) a little crimp bead  
5) Add the jewelery clasp

Shades of Green Necklace.

A green shaded necklace to spice up your spring garderobe.
 
What you'll need
- 3 strings of "Jasseron" necklaces 
   TIP: For Belgium/The Netherlands : I found mine here. 
- Different shades of green ribbon (1 meter each)
- Fluo yellow beads
- Little iron rings 
- An iron wire

Step by Step
1) Cut the jasseron in 3 strings of 25 cm each.
2) Start to weave the first ribbon between two strings of golden jasseron
  TIP: Weave a little iron wire through the first attached strings. It helps to "form" the necklace.
3) Attach the third jasseron necklace by weaving the second green ribbon
 IMPORTANT : Make sure you leave enough ribbon left to secure your necklace.
4) Attach the beads with the little iron rings
5) You can secure the ends of the ribbon by holding it close to a candle. The heat will keep the ribbon from unraveling

Navy Necklace.

 

A necklace inspired by a beautiful COS necklace, here worn by the lovely Tiany Kiriloff from Belmodo.tv and Andy Torres from Style Scrapbook.

What you'll need

- 3 meter of "navy rope"

- 1 meter of ribbon

- needle and thread

- glue

Colorful Statement Necklace

What you'll need :
- 3 different types of ribbon (1 meter each)
- 4 Jasseron necklaces (30 cm each) For BE & NL : I found mine online Beads & Basics

Tutorial 

1) Cut the ribbon and the Jasseron necklaces

2) Attach the ribbon to the Jasseron necklace by making a little knot 

3) Start to wave the ribbon between two Jasseron necklaces 

4) Add a second color by adding a third Jasseron

5) Add a thirth color by adding another, the fourth Jasseron

6) Hide the ends of the ribbons and secure them

7) Finish by attaching a clasp
