BANG! Sequin pin.

Inspired by a pin of the beautiful Belgian brand Essentiel and this crazy DIY by the ladies of Operation Overhaul (a great DIY blog out of Singapore!) I created this pin!

What you'll need
- the template
- felt
- sequins (3 colours)
- a pin
- needle and thread

Template

Step by step

1) Cut out the template
2) Mark it on the felt
3) Start sewing! -And sewing... and some more sewing...-
4) Add the pin on the back

Bling Bling!

Spring proof pillow.

Inspiration for this project I found on the blog House & Home after running into it on Pintrest! And apparently the original pillow is from HomeSense.
A DIY project that will keep you busy for a couple of hours... But the result is worth it!

What you'll need
- a pillow
- felt
- fabric in the same colour as your felt

extra: scissors, a sewing machine and pins

Tutorial

Step by step

1) Cut the circles out of the felt - I needed +- 140 pieces
2) Measure the fabric so it can fit around the original pillow
3) Pin the circles on the fabric
4) Sew the circles on the fabric (use the diameter of the circle as guideline)
5) Turn the fabric inside out and sew the pieces together to form the "skelet" of the cushion cover
6) Put the cushion inside your brand new cover

Colour up your living room!

Ipad Mini Case.

Once you made the investment, you want to take your tablet or Ipad with you everywhere you go. But without risking to break it. Nothing is more convenient than a soft, securing case to protect your precious tablet.

What you'll need
- felt
- leather
- a sewing machine
Tutorial
1) Use the sizes indicated on the template to cut a paper pattern
TIP : Only use the sizes that are indicated on the template - The template itself is made on scale
2) Use your pattern to cut the felt
3) Cut the leather and make a little border. The piece made out of leather is around 4 cm wide. (It is not on the template!)
4) Sew the case together with your sewing machine and make sure to lock the leather piece at the top.
5) You can now slide the flap between the leater and the felt to close and open your case

Travel!

The template (Made on scale, use the indicated sizes to make your own pattern)

Chunky Statement necklace.

A Chunky Statement Necklace made out felt and leather. You can make it in any colour you want and even make the leather piece pop more by making it in another colour.

What you'll need
-felt
-leather (in the same or different colour)
-silk ribbon
-template

EXTRA : glue (fast drying or fabric glue) // scissors // lighter

 Tutorial:
1) Cut out the template
2) Place the template on the felt and cut the circles
3) Do the same for the leather, but cut only one circle (3,8 cm)
4) Glue the matching felt and leather template to each other
5) Place all the circles in place and add little spots of glue to secure them
6) Sew the ribbon to the back of the outer circles
7) TIP: Use a lighter to secure the ends of the silk ribbon. It will keep them from unraveling
