Golden Autumn Candles.

A fun way to pimp glass candle holders. Ideal for these autumn days.

What do you need
- candle holders
- washi tape
- golden spray/golden paint
- candles

Step by step
1) Make a template out of paper to protect the inside of the glass
2) Tape it on to the glass
3) Start playing with the washi tape. Use 2 types of washi tape (thick and thin washi tape) to create a fun effect.
4) Spray paint the candle holders.
5) I added an extra layer of golden acryl paint but this is optional.

Light the candles and enjoy the cosyness!

Spring proof pillow.

Inspiration for this project I found on the blog House & Home after running into it on Pintrest! And apparently the original pillow is from HomeSense.
A DIY project that will keep you busy for a couple of hours... But the result is worth it!

What you'll need
- a pillow
- felt
- fabric in the same colour as your felt

extra: scissors, a sewing machine and pins

Tutorial

Step by step

1) Cut the circles out of the felt - I needed +- 140 pieces
2) Measure the fabric so it can fit around the original pillow
3) Pin the circles on the fabric
4) Sew the circles on the fabric (use the diameter of the circle as guideline)
5) Turn the fabric inside out and sew the pieces together to form the "skelet" of the cushion cover
6) Put the cushion inside your brand new cover

Colour up your living room!

Pantone inspired flowerpots.

A very easy DIY if you got some paint leftovers.
As a kid, one day, I discoverd my mom's flowerpot stock. I started painting them in all the colours of the world, using them for one hunderd things.
And the rest is history...

What you'll need
- some flowerpots
- two colours of paint (I used wall paint)
- a pencil

Step by Step
1) Paint the pots in your base colour (Here: white)
2) Let them dry!
3) Carefully draw a line with the second colour and fill the blank (Here: Acid Yellow)

And there you go!
Instant colour and happiness in your living room.
